Lead Architect & Founder Kenzo Yamashita is a French/Japanese Architect who graduated from Paris Belleville School of Architecture in September 2005. In 2009, together with Elina Kriticou, they founded, and are since co-directing, EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS. The creation of EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS came as the natural next step to Kenzo’s rich experience in well-known international and national firms such as Carlos Ferrater in Barcelona-Spain, Wilkinson Eyre Architects in London-UK and well known firms in Nicosia-Cyprus. His experience involves a variety of projects from small scale ones with private clients to big scale, complex ones, in all areas of design (residential, educational and offices buildings) as well as national and international competitions. Since 2009 he has been one of the two Lead Architects of EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS. Through EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS he was able to fully express his passion in Architecture and to apply the firm’s philosophy of designing sustainable and engaging Architecture focused on people, culture and tradition.
